ANTARA
ANTARA is an initiative by S CAPITAL LIMITED that blends the
timeless beauty and structure of Indian Classical Music with
the science of mental well being. Our mission is to create
immersive experiences that use untapped potential of Ragas as
a powerful tool to reduce stress, promote emotional balance
and foster meaningful connections.

WHAT IS ANTARA?
A Measured Step in Arts & Well-being
Project ANTARA is an evolving arts initiative that blends Indian classical music with guided meditation and reflective listening. Created in response to the growing interest in arts-led approaches to wellbeing, it offers curated raga-based performances in quiet, thoughtful settings.
Curated by Rohith Sakthy, founder of ANTARA, the project has unfolded across three key events-in Huddersfield, Halifax, and Leeds-growing from an experimental concept into a replicable format. Each phase has shaped its identity: from early institutional collaborations to independent production, ANTARA has balanced artistic depth with accessibility and reflection.
While rooted in tradition, ANTARA looks ahead-embracing feedback, audience insight, and the need for gentle contextual framing to invite broader engagement. With its emphasis on calm, connection, and cultural richness, ANTARA continues to explore how sound can support emotional and mental wellbeing.
ANTARA: Music with Purpose
Research-driven evolution of our performance.
ANTARA goes beyond the idea of a traditional concert. It is an ongoing exploration into how South Indian Classical Music can support and uplift mental well-being. Each performance is shaped by research into the emotional and therapeutic qualities of different Raga structures, with audience feedback playing a central role. After every concert, we gather responses through surveys and use them to refine the experience, ensuring the music resonates more deeply each time. Over the years, this process has not only enriched our performances but has also led to the development of a white paper thesis, which we are proud to share on our website.
